• Connect the programming adapter to your computer
• Start your computer
• Start PonyProg (previous installation of this program is
required)
• In the "setup" menu please click on "interface setup"
• Choose the setting "parallel", "Avr ISO I/O", and "LPT1"
• In the "setup" menu please click on calibration
• After please click "YES" and "OK"
• Please set the device family to "AVR micro"
• Depending on your type of processor device please either
set to "ATmega162"(PSS-224A/B or "ATmega64"(PRM-
108A, PDM-208A) for PRM-108 and PDM-208 it is
AT90S8515
• In the "command" menu please select "read all" (just to
be sure, please save this data file)
• In the "file" menu click on "open program(Flash) file" and
select the according *.bin-file (or *.hex-file) from the di-
rectory
• In the "command" menu please select "erase"
• In the "command" menu please click on "write program
(Flash)"
• Now the program memory will be transcribed and com-
pared afterwards
• After you successfully accomplished this please click
on the "open data (EEPROM) file" in the "file" menu and
choose the according *.eep-file from the directory
• In the "command" menu please select "write data (EE-
PROM)"
• Now the program memory will be transcribed and com-
pared afterwards
• Now close the window and end the PonyProg
• Last please disconnect the adapter PPA-001 from the
device-remote-socket
- After you finished the firmware update with the Con-
figV3000, the following procedures shall be carried out, a
functioning connection preconditioned_
- Load previously saved data on your computer
- Send configuration (regarding a PSS-224 A/B update)
- Send the Speakerline programming (regarding a PSS-
224 A/B update)
- Send the PSS-224 A/B service settings (regarding a PSS-
224 A/B update)
- Send the programming of the remote microphone (regar-
ding a remote microphone update)
- Send the remote microphone service settings (regarding
a remote microphone update)
Important:
A firmware update is a very sensitive issue.
Only an accurate update will give you the desired results,
such as deleting errors and adding new functions! Therefor
please take your time with this update and close all other
programs on your computer prior to starting the update.

• Danach"Yes" und „OK" drücken
• Device Familie „AVR micro" einstellen
• je nach eingebautem
„ATmega162"(PSS-224A/B) oder „ATmega64"(PRM-
108A, PDM-208A) einstellen (bei PRM-108 und PDM-208
AT90S8515)
• im Menü „Command", „Read All" anwählen (diese Datei
sicherheitshalber abspeichern)
• im Menü „File", „Open Programm(Flash) File" anklicken
und entsprechende *.bin-Datei (oder *.hex-Datei) aus
Verzeichnis auswählen
• im Menü „Command", „Erase" anwählen
• im Menü „Command", „Write Programm (Flash)" an-
wählen
• Programmspeicher wird jetzt überschrieben und an-
schließend verglichen
• nach erfolgreicher Durchführung im Menü „File" „Open
Data(EEPROM) File" anklicken und entsprechende *.eep-
Datei aus Verzeichnis auswählen
• im Menü „Command", „Write Data (EEPROM)" anwählen
• Datenspeicher wird jetzt überschrieben und anschlie-
ßend verglichen
• Fenster schließen, PonyProg beenden
• Adapter PPA-001 von der Geräte-Remote-Buchse trennen
- Nach einem Firmware-Update sind mit ConfigV3000 fol-
gende Prozeduren durchzuführen, eine funktionierende
Verbindung zum Konfigurations-PC vorausgesetzt:
- Vorher im PC gespeicherte Datei laden
- Konfiguration senden (bei PSS-224A/B Update)
- Lausprecherlinien Programmierung senden (bei PSS-
224A/B Update)
- PSS-224A/B Service Einstellungen senden (bei PSS-
224A/B Update)
- Sprechstellen Programmierung senden (bei Sprechstel-
len Update)
- Sprechstellen Service Einstellungen senden (bei
Sprechtellen Update)
Wichtig
Ein Firmware-Update ist eine äußerst sensible Angelegen-
heit.
Nur korrekte Updates bringen Sie in den Genuss beseitigter
Fehler oder neuer Funktionen! Führen Sie diese also gewis-
senhaft und in Ruhe durch. Beenden Sie vorher möglichst
andere Programme auf Ihrem PC
