OPERATING ELEMENTS
1. Push the talk button
Through pressing this button and keeping it pressed, the
pre-selected relay-groups are activated and the micro-
phone signal is interconnected.
2. Control-Key (PTM-201x)
Push this button and the desktop microphones of the
PTM-101x type can be activated for speaking or can be
locked.
3. BUS-connector
Desktop microphone is connected with the BUS connec-
tor through the desktop microphone cable (PMC-xxx)
INITIAL OPERATION
The desktop microphone is connected to the BUS through
the desktop microphone cable PMC-xxx. Power supply is
carried out through the desktop microphone cable also.
In case the BUS should be rather long, the desktop micro-
phone may also be supplied with 24 V power directly through
the socket. Right after plugging it in, it is ready for operation.
There is no need to program the desktop microphone, but
the status-cable can be used to control the input, which can
then lead to another function within the VARES-System (see
VARES software)

BEDIENELEMENTE
1. Talk-Taste
Durch Drücken und halten dieser Taste werden die vor-
gewählten Relaisgrup-pen aktiviert und das Mikrofonsi-
gnal durchgeschaltet.
2. Funktions-Taste (PTM-201x)
Durch das Drücken dieser Taste können Sprechstellen
des Typs PTM-101x für das Sprechen freigegeben oder
gesperrt werden
3. Bus-Anschluss
Hier wird die Sprechstelle über das Sprechstellenkabel
(PMC-xxx) mit der Busanschlussdose verbunden.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Die Sprechstelle wird über das Sprechstellenkabel PMC-xxx
mit dem Bus verbunden. Über das Sprechstellenkabel er-
folgt auch die Stromversorgung.
Ist der Bus sehr lang, so kann die Sprechstelle auch direkt
an ihrer Anschlussdose mit 24V versorgt werden. Nach dem
Einstecken ist die Sprechstelle sofort betriebs-bereit. Die
Sprechstelle braucht nicht Programmiert werden, jedoch
kann die Status-leitung verwendet werden um einen Eingang
zu steuern, welcher eine weitere Funk-tion am VARES-Sytem
auslösen kann (siehe VARES Software).
