Hauling the Machine

Remove the key and shut off the fuel (if equipped)
before storing or hauling the machine.
Use care when loading or unloading the machine
into a trailer or a truck.
Use full-width ramps for loading the machine into
a trailer or a truck.
Tie the machine down securely.
Pushing or Towing the
Machine
In an emergency, you can move the machine
forward by actuating the bypass valve in the
variable-displacement hydraulic pump and pushing or
towing the machine.
Important:
Do not push or tow the machine faster
than 3 to 4.8 km/h (2 to 3 mph). If you push or tow
at a faster speed, internal transmission damage
may occur.
The bypass valves must be open whenever you
push or tow the machine.
1.
Open the hood and locate the bypass valves
(Figure
36) on the top of pump, behind the
battery/storage boxes.
