Electrical connection U.K.

All electrical work should be carried out
only by a suitably qualified and
competent person, in strict accordance
with current national and local safety
regulations (BS 7671 in the UK).
Ensure power is not supplied to the
appliance while installation work is
being carried out.
The appliance is supplied with a mains
cable (approx. 1.6 m long) for
connection either to a 230-240V single
phase supply or to a 415 V 3-phase +
N supply. The voltage, rated load and
fuse rating are given on the data
plate. Please ensure these match the
on-site mains supply.
Connection should be made via a
suitable isolator which complies with
national and local safety regulations,
and the on/off switch should be easily
accessible for servicing work.
For extra safety it is advisable to install
a residual current device (RCD), with a
trip current of 30 Ma (in accordance
with DIN VDE 0664, DIN VDE 0100
Section 739).
When switched off there must be an
all-pole contact gap of 3 mm in the
isolator switch (including switch, fuses
and relays acc. to VDE 0660.
Installation and connection
Important
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Green/yellow = earth
Blue
= neutral
Brown
= live
WARNING:
THIS APPLIANCE
MUST BE EARTHED
Electrical connection (IRL)
This tumble dryer is supplied as stan-
dard for connection to a 400 V 3-phase
+ N supply. The rated load is 5.4 kW.
Connection should be made via a
suitable isolator which complies with
national and local regulations, and the
on/off switch should be easily
accessible for servicing work. For extra
safety it is advisable to install a residual
current device with a trip current of
30 mA.
The voltage, rated load and fuse rating
are given on the data plate. Please
ensure that these match the site mains
supply.
WARNING
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE
EARTHED.
