    SDM610 – USER MANUAL TNM-U-E-0109 If a Priority Channel is assigned, the radio will interleave a check of this channel between each normal channel check. The radio may also check the Priority Channel every few seconds while stopped on a channel. If a signal is found on the Priority Channel then the radio will switch to that channel immediately.

    This section details the operation of the menu system for the SDM610. The SDM610 radio software uses a programmed Menu structure to enable the operator to access all of the radio options. The structure of the menu (comprising up to eleven screens) can be programmed to meet the specific needs of individual customers.

    TNM-U-E-0109 MENU SCREENS The menu structure on the SDM610 is configurable using the FPP. A system administrator usually tailors the order and presence of the menu options to specific customer requirements. This section describes all the menus that are currently available.

    SDM610 – USER MANUAL TNM-U-E-0109 DJUST The Mute Adjust menu allows the user to select the threshold at which the radio makes weaker or distorted received audio signals available to the user. Figure 9. Mute Adjust Screen. The default Mute Adjustment range is from 0 – 15. The mute adjustment setting will be applied to all the radio’s analogue channels.

    SDM610 – USER MANUAL TNM-U-E-0109 The level can be set in 33 steps over the range 0 to 32, with 0 (zero) delivering no sound, 16 is normal level and 32 giving the maximum possible output from the speaker. Use the ▼ and ▲ keys to select the relative speaker volume level. A beep will sound at the indicated level each time the setting is changed.

    This section provides details on the Special functions that can be programmed to the F2, F3 and S (F4) buttons on the SDM610 Controller Microphone by the FPP. These special functions can be simple short cuts to specific menus or an on/off toggle facility for specific actions.
