Any deficiencies should be reported to your CLARKE dealer immediately. TOOLS REQUIRED Open or ratchet ring spanners (19 mm) or an adjustable wrench.
  • Page 5 ASSEMBLY 1. Loosely bolt the supporting column to the rear crossmember. 2. Loosely bolt the centre spine to the front crossmember. 3. Secure the braked castors to the front crossmember with nuts and washers. 4. Fit the wheels to the rear cross- member using the small washers and split-pins.
  • Page 6 10. Ensure that all weight is spread evenly across all sections, making sure that all wheels/castors are on level ground and that the assembly is sitting square and true. Tighten all nuts and bolts. 11. Store the operating handle in the socket provided when not in use. MOUNTING THE ENGINE TO THE STAND 1.
  • Page 7 9. Once you are confident that the stand is supporting the weight of the engine, disconnect the hoist. Now that the engine is mounted to the stand it can be rotated around to access all sides of the engine. Use the locking pin to lock the engine at one of four different working angles.
