10.2.2 Connection via USB (Optional)

In order to connect via USB, you must use the USB cable provided or, if
necessary, cables on which "USB HIGH SPEED is specifically indicated.

Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the USB cable's device connector to the tool's USB socket.
2. Connect the USB cable's host connector to a USB port on the display unit.
Continue with the communication software configuration.

The configuration procedure is described in the software manual.
The flashing of the RED LED indicates a proper communication between the
tool and the display unit.
You cannot power the tool using the USB port.
