Problem
The display does not react
to the touch.
An acoustic signal sounds
and the hob deactivates.

Hob²Hood does not work.

Possible cause
The fuse is blown.
You do not set the heat set-
ting for 60 seconds.
You touched 2 or more sen-
sor fields at the same time.
Pause operates.
Part of the display is covered
or the pots are placed too
near to the display.
There is some liquid or an
object on the display.
You put something on one
or more sensor fields.
You put something on the
sensor field
.
The zone is not hot because
it operated only for a short
time or the sensor under the
hob surface is damaged.
Another zone is already set
to the highest heat setting.
The cookware is too large or
you put it too near to the
controls.
You covered the control pan-
el.
You activated the H1 mode.
There might be a problem
with the light bulb.
Remedy
Make sure that the fuse is
the cause of the malfunction.
If the fuse is blown again
and again, contact a quali-
fied electrician.
Activate the hob again and
set the heat setting in less
than 60 seconds.
Touch only one sensor field.
Refer to "Daily use".
Remove the objects. Move
the pots away from the dis-
play.
Clean the display, wait until
the appliance is cold. Dis-
connect the hob from the
electrical supply. After 1 min,
connect the hob again.
Remove the object from the
sensor fields.
Remove the object from the
sensor field.
If the zone operated suffi-
ciently long to be hot, speak
to an Authorised Service
Centre.
First reduce the power of the
other zone.
Put large cookware on the
rear zones if possible.
Remove the object from the
control panel.
Change the mode to H2 - H6
or wait until the automatic
mode starts.
Contact an Authorised Serv-
ice Centre.
