Explanation
The wrong type of cartridge
is installed or is installed in
the wrong slot.
A non-genuine ink cartridge
is installed.
The ink cartridge is
expended.
The ink cover is open.
The ink cartridge is almost
expended.
The maintenance cartridge
is full.
The maintenance cartridge
is not installed in the
printer.
Response
Select NO (press the Menu
replace the ink cartridge with a genuine Epson ink
cartridge. See "Replacing Ink Cartridges" on page 105.
Otherwise, select YES (press the
Replace the ink cartridge with a genuine Epson ink
cartridge. See "Replacing Ink Cartridges" on page 105.
Install a new ink cartridge. See "Replacing Ink
Cartridges" on page 105.
Close the ink cover.
You need to replace the ink cartridge soon. Although
you can continue printing when the INK LOW message
appears, print quality may decline.
Replace the maintenance cartridge with a new one. See
"Replacing the Maintenance Cartridge" on page 114.
Install the maintenance cartridge.
