PROBLEM
Low water flow
Sand inside the minipool
Water leaks
The water of the minipool does not
become clear

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The sand of the sand filter is very dirty
or the water supply is excessively hard
and has clogged the sand filter.

chapter "Characteristics of the
water supply" on page 13
It is normal for there to be a minimum
amount of sand inside the minipool
during the first hours of use of the
sand filter. After the first cleaning of
the bottom the problem should no
longer exist.
Some component is probably not
fully tightened or the seals are worn.
Most likely the filter sand needs to
be changed or the pH of the water
supply is incorrect and so algae
grows.

SOLUTION
Replace the sand as indicated,
f o l l o w i n g t h e i n s t r u c t i o n s o n
granularity.
Check the water hardness. If it is
greater than 14°f install a softener
upstream.
Cleaning the bottom with a minipool
cleaner.
Make sure you have used sand with
granularity from 0.5 to 1 mm suitable
for this type of use.
Check the tightness or replace the
seals.
Check the condition of the sand and
replace if necessary.
U s e a n t i - a l g a e p ro d u c t s a n d
disinfectants.
Remember that the sand filter does
NOT block metal oxides that may
over time damage components of
the minipool.
