The following steps should be followed for replacement of the door gasket:
Ensure the appliance is not in operation and is thoroughly cooled.
1.
Remove the old door gasket and clean the gasket channel.
2.
Using an approved high-temperature gasket cement, apply a thin coat in the bottom of the

channel.
Starting at the hinge side of the door, work into the channel around the door unit, trim to length
4.
and butt the ends together.
Close the door and allow three to four hours for the cement to set before restarting any fire.
5.
THIS WOOD HEATER UTILIZES NEW TECHNOLOGY, WHICH INCLUDES CERAMIC FIBER
BOARD THAT IS LOCATED IN THE FIREBOX, AND RESTS ON TOP OF
IT IS A NECESSARY COMPONENT OF THE FIREBOX.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE: THE CERAMIC FIBER BOARD MAY BECOME LOOSE DURING INITIAL
SHIPPING. BE SURE IT IS LYING FLAT, ON TOP OF THE STAINLESS STEEL TUBES, AND
PUSHED ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK OF THE UNIT, WITH NO GAPS BETWEEN IT
MAINTENANCE: This unit is equipped with a ceramic Fiber Board ceiling baffle (two pieces). After
extensive use, the board should be removed and cleaned.
The following steps should be followed for cleaning or replacement:
Ensure the appliance is not in operation and is completely cooled down.

There is one screw in each stainless steel tube holder, located in the fire box ceiling. Remove

the screws from the front and middle tube holders.
Shift each loose tube to the right, so that one end comes completely out of the socket. Drop
3.
the end down and pull it out by pulling it back to the left.
Drop the first board down and push the left corner to the top left. Bring the right corner down to
4.
the bottom right of your door opening, and pull the right side out first. Repeat for the second
board piece.
Vacuum the boards off and blow the carbon out of the tubes, if there is any build-up.
5.
Re-install the boards and tubes, reversing the same method they were removed.
6.
FIBER BOARD: CARE & MAINTENANCE
FOUR STAINLESS STEEL TUBES.
DO NOT REMOVE THIS CERAMIC FIBER BOARD!!!
AND THE BACK WALL.
