Double Line Pull:

A Double Line Pull is used when a
vehicle is thought to be "deep stuck"
in mud or on a very steep slope where
extra pulling force is required. Start
by feeding out enough wire rope to
free the winch hook. Attach the hook
to your vehicle's frame/tow hook and
run the wire rope through a snatch
block. Disengage the clutch and,
using the snatch block, pull out
enough wire to reach your anchor
point. Secure to the anchor point with
a tree trunk protector or choker chain
with the use of a D-Ring. After
rigging, review steps 12 through 16
for proper winching technique.
