This manual describes Emulex LP21000 and LP21002, multi-protocol PCI-Express Converged Network Adapters (CNAs) for a 10 Gigabit Enhanced Ethernet (EE) fabric. Emulex CNAs provide both traditional networking interface card (NIC) functionality and host-bus-adapter (HBA) functionality, as well as Fibre Channel over Ethernet(FCoE) functionality for convergence of Fibre Channel traffic onto 10 Gigabit EE fabric. -

IEEE addresses are assigned for each port, and are used when configuring your system. The serial number is used when communicating with Emulex. All numbers are clearly marked on the board. We recommend that you record these numbers before installation. -
