calculated in AOP mode.
It is still possible to continue
the exam in AEC or manual
mode.

The position of the tube
carrying arm does not permit
exposure:
-Position not locked
-Outside the range ±15°
(Stereotix 2 not installed)
-Outside the range±27°
(Stereotix 2 installed)
The image receiver is at SID
of 510 mm and Stereotix 2 is
not installed.
Stereotix 2 is installed and
the image receiver is not at a
focal distance of 510 mm.
There is no cassette, or the
cassette has not been
changed since last exposure
This message is normal. It
indicates that the angulation
sensor was not yet stabilized
when the rotation button is
released.The message
disapears as soon as the
angulation sensor stops
moving, then the final angle
is displayed.

Corrective Action
1. Switch OFF.
2. Switch ON.
- If fault continues, not ALL
messages and contact GEMS
Field Service.
Call service.

-Correct the position of the tube
carrying arm.
-Change the focal distance.
-Change the focal distance to
510 mm
- If a previously exposed
cassette is still in the bucky,
remove it and insert an
unexposed one.
- If there is no cassette in the
bucky, insert an unexposed
one.
- If the message is still displayed,
check that the bucky is
correctly inserted (see
chapter 1, section 2-1-3).
- Do not shake the gantry.
-Wait for stabilization.
- If the code is displayed
frequently , the angle sensor
may be faulty.Replace it
