Installation location:

North or north-westerly wall, 2 to 2.5 m above
ground level; on multi storey buildings, in the upper
half of the second floor

Not above windows, doors or vents
Logging off wireless components
Note
The wireless components can only be logged off all of
them together.
Log off wireless components under the following condi-
tions:
■
The wireless connection is unstable.
One of the wireless components is faulty.
■
A wireless repeater is being retrofitted.
■
Note
A fault message appears on the Vitotronic control unit
when logging off the wireless components (see rele-
vant installation and service instructions).
1. Switch the Vitotronic control unit off and then on
again after a brief interval.

Not immediately below balconies or gutters

Not level with or immediately above a concrete ceil-
ing/floor
Never render over.

2. Within 5 min, press

(see page 13) and hold for 20 s.
When the LED on the wireless base station flashes
red, all wireless components have been logged off.
3. Log those wireless components that should not be
logged off back on again (see page 12).
Logging off the wireless repeater (if installed)
1. Unplug the mains connection and after a brief inter-
val, plug in again.
2. Within 5 minutes, set DIP switch 2 at the back of
the wireless repeater (see diagram) to "Reset".
The wireless repeater has been logged off from the
wireless base station if the red LED at the front
flashes (for approx. 20 s).
3. Set DIP switch 2 back to "Run".
