Wireless outside temperature sensor
There is no indicator for reception quality on the wire-
less outside temperature sensor.
With wireless remote control
1. Provisionally mount the wireless outside temperature
sensor in its intended location. Observe information
regarding the installation site on page 17.
2. Press
(see diagram on page 13).

3. Check the reception quality with the wireless remote
control.

4. Good reception quality:
Install the wireless outside temperature sensor.
Poor reception quality:
Select new installation site and check reception.

With field strength meter (see page 8)
1. Position the test meter next to the wireless base sta-
tion as a continuous transmitter.
2. With a 2nd test meter acting as receiver, select an in-
stallation site with adequate reception quality. Install
the wireless outside temperature sensor there.
3. If no installation site with good reception can be
found, change the location of the wireless base sta-
tion (if possible) or use a wireless repeater.
