Overview of the installation and commissioning process
Steps
1.
Switch OFF the power supply at the Vitotronic control unit.
2.
Note down the 3-digit wireless key. This is printed on the protective foil on the front of the
wireless base station.
3.
Remove the wireless module.
4.
Provisionally connect the wireless base station to the Vitotronic control unit and place it in
its intended location.
5.
Place all wireless components near the wireless base station.
6.
Fit the wireless module to the wall mounting base and switch ON the Vitotronic control unit.
7.
If a wireless outside temperature sensor has been installed, log this on first.
8.
Log on any further wireless components.
9.
Check the reception quality of the wireless components.
10.
Install all wireless components.
Connecting the wireless base station to the control unit
Danger
An electric shock can be life-threatening.
Before opening the Vitotronic control unit, dis-
connect it from the mains voltage, e.g. at the
fuse or mains isolator.
Note
Connect the wireless base station only provisionally.
This allows for adjustments to the installation location
to improve reception quality.
