    SAFETY INFORMATION 1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn the electricity off at main fuse box or circuit breaker before beginning fan installation or servicing the fan. 2. Read all instructions and safety information carefully before installing your fan and save this manual.

    TOOLS REQUIRED .Ladder ·Pliers ·Wire Strippers ·Phillips Screwdriver UNPACKING FAN Carefully open the packaging. Remove items from Styrofoam inserts. Remove motor housing and place on clean floor or Styrofoam to avoid damage to finish. Do not discard fan carton or Styrofoam inserts should this fan will need to be returned for repairs. Check against parts list that all parts have been included.

  • Page 6: Installing Mounting Bracket

    INSTALLING MOUNTING BRACKET Shut the power off at the circuit breaker box before beginning. Warning: Failure to disconnect power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury. For safety and best operating results, installation must be undertaken by qualified electrician. Before installing the fan make sure the outlet box is properly installed to house structure.
  • Page 7: Downrod / Ball Assembly

    DOWNROD / BALL ASSEMBLY Slide the canopy and yoke cover on the downrod. Thread the power wires from the fan through the canopy, and downrod (take extra care not to pull power wires damage). Set downrod into yoke. Rotate until the holes match. Insert connector bolt through the holes.

    MAKING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN, TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY. Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your household wiring. Use the wire connecting nuts supplied with your fan. Connect Black(Hot) fan wire to Black outlet wire, white (Neutral) fan wire to white outlet wire. Connect green or bare copper wire from outlet box to the hanger bracket and downroll ball green ground wires together.

    ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS (FOR OPTIONAL WALL CONTROL) Follow this wiring diagram. Fan & Wall control sold separately, choose wall dimming control compatible with LED light only. Fig. B & C illustrate the wiring connections for optional wall control (The wire color out of wall control may vary, see wall control’s installation manual for correct wire connections.)     BLADES INSTALLATION Insert the blade screws through blade kit Blade and blade then secure by tightening two blade screws. Repeat this process to install the other blades to the motor. Blade holder screws ATTACHING SWITCH HOUSING MOUNTING PLATE Remove 3 screws on underside of the motor, attach the switch housing mounting plate by using these 3 screws.

    Locate 3 screws on switch housing mounting plate, attach light kit to mounting plate by using these 3 screws and tighten securely. Note: The use of light kits other than models approved by RP Lighting will avoid the warranty. Mounting plate Molex 9-pin connector...

    OPTIONAL LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION Plug 9-pin connector together. Remove switch housing by unscrew 3 side screws, take off a small center plug from switch housing. Attach optional light kit to switch housing with hex and spring washer provided with light kit as shown in illustration.

    3 pulls = Low Speed 4 pulls = Fan Off Connect the two WOOD TASSELS to the pull chains located in light kit ( Model #1073LED-PC ). One is for the fan, and the other is for the light. The pull chain switch for the light kit is two positions ON / OFF.
  • Page 14 OPERATING YOUR FAN A slid reverse switch located on the switch housing control the direction of blades rotation. The right position sets the blades in REVERSE rotation. The left position sets the blades in FORWARD rotation. SUMMER Mode: The reverse switch shall be in the “left” (SUMMER) position to make the fan rotate in an anticlockwise direction.

    TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING: Failure to disconnect power supply prior to troubleshooting any wiring issues may result in serious injury. Problem Solutions - Check circuit fuses or breakers. Fan will not start. - Check line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing. Fan sounds noisy.
