TV OPERATION

6.6 Smart TV

It contains the functions of smart television, connected to the home network or the Internet. Smart
TV features include apps, screen sharing from your mobile device, playing movies from your computer
(using DLNA or a Wi-Fi display). For the smart TV to work properly, you must have the TV connected
to the Internet. Users can access the Terms and conditions, Privacy notice, and cookie notice.
• Smart TV Portal - opens the interface to browse through the available applications for your
TV.
• Share and See - enables or disables DLNA on a connected network. With this feature, you can
play video and audio files from home servers, computers, and other devices connected to the
same network.
• Wireless display - allows you to view screen content and audio from a smart device (mobile
phone, tablet) on the screen of your new TV.
• Network standby - allows the TV to be put in operation mode using a compatible network
device. The device must be connected to the same network as the TV.
• Netflix settings – you can disable access to Netflix services and view the currently installed
version with device identification.
• HbbTV setting - this is a hybrid TV mode that combines DVB broadcasting and Internet access
to deliver on-demand interactive services to the viewer. Examples include discounts, contests,
recipes, current news, weather and video archives of shows and other services. The available
content depends on the channel provider. TV stations that contain HbbTV support will notify
you of this feature by a red dot on the screen. To start it, just press the red button on the remote
control.
• HbbTV - enables / disables the HbbTV function.
• Cookies - allows you to store data (cookies) for faster loading the next time you visit.
• Device ID - identifier of your device.
• Tracking - enables or disables device tracking.
• Reset Smart TV - reset Smart TV function settings to factory settings.

6.7 Network

This menu includes options for setting up a connection to the home network or internet. Valid Internet
connection is required to use HbbTV services and other smart TV features such as applications.
• Internet connection - provides the ability to turn the TV's internet access on or off.
• Interface - allows you to select your TV's preferred connection to the network via Wi-Fi or wired
Ethernet.
• Wireless settings (available when Wi-Fi is selected):
• Scan - searches for available Wi-Fi networks and displays them. If the network is secure, the user
will be prompted to enter a password when trying to connect.
• Manual - this is an option for advanced users who use, for example, hidden Wi-Fi networks.
Enter the SSID and security type of your Wi-Fi network.
• Auto - allows you to connect your TV using the PBC or WPS button on the router or PIN.
• IP settings (available when Ethernet is selected) - automatic IP address assignment using
DHCP protocol is available, or the IP address can be set manually. This option is recommended
only for advanced users. The user must specify exactly the following parameters: IP address,
subnet, default gateway, primary DNS, secondary DNS.
• If you have trouble connecting, please contact your network administrator or your ISP.
• Information - displays summary information about the current network to which the TV is con-
nected.
• Connection test - test whether your TV is properly connected to your home network or the
Internet.

6.8 System

• This menu enables you to edit the system settings according to your preferences.
• Menu language - allows you to set your preferred OSD menu language and to define the audio
language if supported by the current signal input.

6.8.1 Timer

• Clock - displays a menu with the following features:
• Auto synchronization - enables or disables automatic time synchronization.
• Date and time - allows you to manually set the time without synchronizing.
• Some TV features require the TV system time to be synchronized with the actual local time.
• Power on timer - allows the TV to start automatically once or daily at a predetermined time.
There is also a channel option that will be selected at startup. You can select the last channel
before turning off the TV or your favorite TV channel.
• Power off timer - allows the TV to turn off once or daily at a set time.
6.8.2 Other „Timer" menu functions
• Time zone - allows you to set the time of the TV according to DVB broadcast, or by selecting
the appropriate GMT time zone.
• Sleep Timer - allows you to set the TV to turn off automatically after the selected time interval
(10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 90 and 120 minutes). You can set this function on the remote control
by pressing SLEEP button.
• Auto standby - allows you to set the TV to turn off automatically after 4, 6, 8 hours if you
do not press any button on the remote control for a given period of time. The TV enters
standby mode.

6.8.3 Lock

You can set a lock function to restrict access to certain functions in this menu. To activate the indivi-
dual lock settings, you must first enter the factory PIN 1234.
• Channel lock - allows you to select individual TV channels that can only be viewed after
entering the PIN code. Enter BLOCK CHANNEL and enter your PIN. This will open the channel
list where you can add or remove the lock for each channel using the OK button.
• Parental rating - use the recommended minimum age restriction to watch movies and shows
based on legislative requirements. This information is part of the broadcast data of selected
DVB channels. The broadcast content of the channels cannot be displayed if the current
broadcast content is intended for users older than the age of the youngest user (9, 12, 15,
18 years). Adult users can disable this feature at any time by entering the PIN code on
a blocked channel.
This service is not yet active in the Czech Republic. You can easily check if the service is avai-
lable for your TV channels. While watching a TV channel, press the INFO button, which in addi-
tion to the channel information will also display the viewer's age recommendations for watching
the channel.
• Input lock - allows you to add PIN protection to selected signal inputs.
• Front panel lock - allows you to lock or unlock the buttons on the front cabinet below
the display. Pressing them will not affect the TV in any way until you turn off this function.
• Installation lock - locks the possibility to install new channels or delete existing channels.
Enter the PIN to cancel this lock.
• Change password - enter the factory PIN (1234), then you can choose any new PIN of 4 digits.
