SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
If the TV has been exposed to water, moisture, heat, fire, mechanical or other damage and harmful
factors before or during use, avoid using it again and unplug the TV immediately from the power
supply! The device must be referred to an authorized service center or qualified personnel for inspecti-
on and restoration prior to next use.
Otherwise, the use of the TV set is strictly forbidden and there is a risk of electric shock, injury, death
or property damage!
Electronic waste disposal instructions
Do not dispose of the product at the end of its useful life together with municipal waste.
Bring it to a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Informa-
tion on the correct disposal method is given by the symbol on the product, in the operating
instructions or on the packaging. Recycle materials according to their designation. Recycling
materials or other forms of reuse of old appliances makes a significant contribution to pro-
tecting the environment. For information on authorized recycling centers, contact your local
authority.
Disposal of used batteries
The batteries supplied with this TV may contain chemicals that are harmful to the environ-
ment. Please take the used batteries to the appropriate collection point or to your dealer.
Do not dispose of batteries with common household waste. For more information, contact
your local city office or the retailer where you purchased the batteries.
A TV set marked with this symbol complies with the double insulation standard (Class II). The
dangerous voltage is therefore fully isolated from the parts accessible to the user. For this
reason, the device does not require a PE connection (grounding). When repairing, use original
spare parts to maintain this standard.

1.1 Safety precautions

Read all of the following information carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
1) Television set
• Do not push objects of any kind into the openings in the TV set. There is a risk of electric shock,
fire, injury, death, damage to property, or irreparable damage to the TV.
• To prevent damage, do not open the device in any way. All repairs must be referred to an autho-
rized service center or qualified personnel.
• Do not touch the LCD panel. This will prevent scratches or other damage.
• Never apply pressure to the LCD panel. There is a risk of irreversible damage.
2) Power supply
Unplug the TV from the mains under the following conditions:
• the TV set has not been used or will not be used for a long time period
• the power cord is damaged
• the TV has been subjected to impact, drop, liquids, moisture, or other damaging factors
Follow all the instructions for installing and setting up the TV. If the TV is set incorrectly, it may be
damaged. In this case, unplug the unit and contact your dealer or an authorized service center.

3) Cable line
• Do not place any objects on the cable lines and protect them from mechanical stress.
• When installing the cable lines, it is necessary to take personal safety into account, as people
may easily trip over the improperly placed cable lines.
• Do not overload or expose the cable lines to liquids, moisture or other damaging factors.
4) Environment
• Do not place the TV on an unstable surface.
• Position the TV so that there is sufficient air flow all around the TV.
• Do not install the TV set in hot, cold, dusty, or humid places.
• Switch off the TV, unplug it from the mains and disconnect all cable lines if there is a thunder-
storm approaching, or the TV will be left unused without supervision for a long time period,
e.g. during a vacation. This will prevent possible damage to the TV set, fire hazard or other
damage.
5) User eye protection
Your TV is equipped with technologies to reduce eye fatigue while watching, helping to protect
the user's eyesight. However, we recommend that you follow these guidelines to further increase
your eye protection:
• Watch the TV from a place as far away as possible and avoid watching at close proximity.
• Always ensure that the room is adequately illuminated when watching TV. Do not watch
the TV in the dark or under poor light conditions.
• We recommend that you stop watching the TV for at least 15 minutes after each hour of watching
and do other activities during this pause.
• We strongly recommend that you do not watch the TV immediately after waking up, during lack
of sleep, fatigue, irritation, or health problems, especially if they are related to the user eye
health. Consult your physician or eyesight specialist and follow their recommendations for TV
watching.
• The manufacturer, importer and distributor are not responsible for any health problems,
damages or injuries caused by watching TV.

1. 2 Cleaning and maintenance

• Always unplug the TV and disconnect the connected equipment before cleaning and mainte-
nance!
• Remove dust and dirt from the TV case with a dry soft cloth. The LCD panel can be cleaned
with a dry microfiber cloth. You can also use a special LCD cleaner to remove grease or finger-
prints more easily.
• Do not apply excessive force or pressure to the cleaned surface. The LCD panel can be easily
scratched and damaged. Careful approach is strongly recommended.
• Do not use water or aggressive chemical cleaners that are not specially designed to clean LCD
panels and displays. The TV may be irreparably damaged.
