CLEANING AND CARE
INSTALLATION
P R O C E D U R E

Fill in the usage start year/month/day on the
label for the cartridge.

Wipe off the water on
the interior surfaces of
the unit with a dry towel.
Match the position of
the guide mark of the
cartridge (▲) and the
unit (▼).
Then turn the cartridge clockwise until the
LOCK mark of the fi lter cartridge (
front of the guide mark of the unit (▼).

Fit the cartridge into
the cartridge-catcher.
Remove the towel
which is between the
bottom of cartridges
and the unit.

Attach the front cover.
Insert 5 hooks of the front
cover to the hook-openings
on the main unit. Slide the
cover downward.

Run the water through the unit. See "Initial Use"
on page E-5.
NOTE:
Make sure to set AC and UF in each correct position.
DISPOSAL OF FILTER CARTRIDGES
Dispose of the replaced cartridges according to local
disposal laws and regulations.

Replacement of Tubes
REMOVAL FROM THE UNIT

Pull out the joint while pushing down upper
end of the joint socket (blue, red, black).

a. For inlet/outlet tube
Pull out the tube while
pushing the end of the
joint. Refer to the fi gure.

Pull out the tube from the
joint.

NOTE:
If the unit is wall mounted, place it on the countertop

REMOVAL FROM THE DIVERTER VALVE

Remove the nut from the diverter valve, and
pull the tube out of it.
NOTE:
Keep the nut for installation.
INSTALLATION TO THE UNIT

a. For inlet/outlet tube
Insert a new tube into
a joint securely. Make
sure that you cannot pull
the tube out of the joint.
Refer to the fi gure.
b. For drain tube
Insert the joint into a new
tube securely.

Insert the joint into a joint socket in the correct
position.
INSTALLATION TO THE DIVERTER VALVE
1
Put a new tube through the nut and connect
the tube to the correct position of the diverter
valve. Then tighten the nut securely. See
"Connecting the Tubes" on page E-4.
