CLEANING AND CARE
CLEAN THE UNIT AT REGULARLY -
Unit/Tubes
• Wipe with a dry, soft cloth
For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth
dampened with warm water.
• Do not use volatile fl uids
Benzine, paint thinner, polishing powder, etc.,
may damage the surface.
• Do not use detergents
Detergent ingredients may damage the unit.
" Filter Self-Cleaning " for
Ultra Filter for Purifying Water
Once a week, carry out "fi lter self-cleaning" for 5
minutes. See page E-1.
Replacement of Filter Cartridges
Replace the fi lter cartridges at regular intervals.
Never touch the connecting part of both
cartridges and the unit when replacing the
fi lter cartridges.
Standard life time of the fi lter cartridges.

NOTE:
1. The life time of the filter cartridge may vary
depending on the maintenance, water quality and
conditions, usage frequency and capacity.
2. For AC, replace it when you see unnatural colour
or taste unpleasant odour in the purified water
before its standard life time.

REMOVAL

Close the tap, and select
"PURIFIED" with the mode
select lever of the unit.
Wait until the water fl ows
stop from the faucet for
purifi ed water.

To remove the front cover,
slide the cover upward
while pressing both sides
lightly.
NOTE: Remove the front
cover carefully to prevent
the unit from falling.

Put a towel between the
bottom of cartridges and
the unit. Bring up the fi lter
cartridge toward you and
turn the fi lter cartridge
counter-clockwise.

Remove the fi lter cartridge from the unit.
Keep the towel as it is until a new cartridge is
prepared.
NOTE:
If the unit is wall mounted, place it on the countertop
before carrying out steps 1-4 above.
