TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
If you think the unit is not working properly, check the chart below before consulting a SERVICE CENTRE
APPROVED BY SHARP. This will help to prevent unnecessary service calls.
• Repairs and Modifi cations: Do not attempt to use the unit if it is not working properly.
• Replacement accessories: Please consult to your dealer or a SERVICE CENTRE APPROVED BY SHARP.
QUESTION/SITUATION
Water leaks from the diverter valve.
Water leaks from the unit.
Purifi ed water does not fl ow even if the tap is
opened.
Purifi ed water fl ow decreased.
Bad taste and smell of the purifi ed water.
Purifi ed water continues to fl ow from the faucet
for purifi ed water immediately after closing the
tap.
The unit makes vibration and noise.

• Check the diverter valve is tighten to the faucet securely.
See page E-3.
• Check the tubes are attached to the diverter valve
securely by nuts. See page E-4.
• Check the tubes are connected to the joint sockets
securely. See page E-4.
• Check all cartridges are fi tted correctly.
• Check the tubes are connected correctly. See page
E-4.
• Check the mode select lever of the unit is set on
"PURIFIED".
• Check all cartridges are fi tted correctly.
• Check the tubes are not bent or compressed.
• Check the water pressure.
• Check the usage start year/month/day of the cartridges.
Replacement of fi lter cartridge may be necessary.
• If the water purifi er has been left under disuse for a long
time, carry out "fi lter self-cleaning" for 5 minutes. See
page E-1.
• Check the usage start year/month/day of the cartridges.
