Setting the SCSI Address

The SCSI address is set to "5" at the factory. If the
address must be changed, set it by turning the ID
switch with a slot screwdriver until the arrow points to
your new setting. The newly set address will be
recognized when the power is turned on.
Notes
• Before changing the address setting, be sure to turn
the power OFF.
• Do not set the same address as that of the host
computer or other devices on the same SCSI bus.
Adjusting the Contrast of the
Display Window
The contrast of the display window can be adjusted by
turning the contrast control on the internal panel.

Setting the SET UP Switches

Set the SET UP switches according to the operation
mode. At the factory, all switches are set to OFF.
The changed settings will be recognized when the
power is turned on.
Note
Before changing the SET UP switch settings, be sure
to turn the power OFF.
To set fast unload
Set switch 1 to ON.

To set Auto Format mode
Set switch 2 to ON.
For details, see "Format
(DTF)
To set Special Eject mode
Set switch 3 to ON.

To set manual load
Set switch 7 to ON.
When the loading mode is changed, the operation will be
changed. For details, see "Format

Format) and switch 7 (Loading Mode) in

If the loading mode is set to Manual Loading, Auto
Format is not activated by setting switch 2 to ON
