Troubleshooting

Problem
Needle thread
1. The machine is not threaded correctly.
breaks.
2. The thread tension is too tight.
3. The needle is bent or blunt.
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted.
5. A wrong needle is used.
6. Fabric is too heavy.
Needle bends or
1. The needle is bent or blunt.
breaks.
2. The needle is incorrectly inserted.
3. The needle clamp screw is loose.
4. The fabric is forcedly pulled.
5. The number of the needle is wrong.
Skipped stitches
1. The needle is incorrectly inserted.
2. The needle is bent or blunt.
3. The tension is not adjusted correctly.
4. The machine is not threaded correctly.
5. Fabric is too heavy.
6. The number of the needle is wrong.
Seam puckering
1. The needle and/or looper thread tensions are not adjusted
correctly.
2. Fine mode switching lever is not positioned correctly.
3. Easily stretched threads such as wool are use.
The cloth is
1. The presser foot is raised.
not feeding
2. Presser foot pressure is too weak.
smoothly.
3. The feed dog is packed with lint.
Machine does
1. The machine is not connected correctly to the power supply.

2. The foot control is not plugged in firmly.
