Problem
6. In a motorized
installation, the positioner
reacts unpredictable
which results in incorrect
positioning of the dish.
7. During (initial) setup of
the receiver, no channels
are found.
8. The signal indicator
shows one indicator
(only signal strength).

Possible cause
The cables used are
worn, damaged or
corroded.
The cable is incorrectly
finished or not sufficiently
shielded.
You did not select the
correct LNB(F).
When installed, you have
selected the incorrect
switch type or port.
You have selected the
incorrect satellite to
search channels on.
You have selected the
incorrect search method.
You have selected an
analog transponder
What to do?
Inspect the cable for
possible damage and
install new cable as
required.
Use sufficiently shielded
and correctly finished
cables.
On the receiver, in the
installation setup menu
select the correct LNB(F).
On the receiver, in the
installation setup menu
make the correct
selections.
On the receiver, in the
installation setup menu
select the correct
satellite.
At an initial setup, always
choose the option All.
Select another (digital)
transponder.
