    FAMILIARIZATION THE RECEIVER The digital satellite receiver has 2 Common Interface slots. The front panel gives you the control over the basic functions. The rear panel gives you various connections to connect the audio and video equipment as well as a terrestrial and dish antenna.     The EPG information is not always available. Sometimes the service provider (who sends the EPG information) supplies only the program name, the now/next infor- mation or sometimes nothing at all. EchoStar has no influence on this matter. Make sure the local time is set otherwise you can not view EPG information because it needs the correct time (Refer to the Local Time menu).
