Motherboard Connections
This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Note that depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The
LEDs on the motherboard are also described here. A serverboard layout indicating component
locations may be found in Chapter 1.
Please review the Safety Precautions in Appendix B before installing or removing components.

4.1 Power Connections

Two power connections on the X11DAi-N must be connected to the power supply. The wiring
is included with the power supply.
24-pin Primary ATX Power (JPWR3)
8-pin Processor Power (JPWR1/JPWR2)
Main ATX Power Connector
The primary power connector (JPWR3) meets the ATX SSI EPS 24-pin specification. You
must also connect the 8-pin (JPWR1/2) processor power connectors to your power supply..
ATX and CPU Power Connectors
JPWR3 is the 24-pin ATX main power supply connector. This primary power supply connector
meets the ATX SSI EPS 24-pin specification. You must also connect the 8-pin (JPWR1/
JPWR2) CPU power connectors to your power supply.
