Technical Procedure Generator Belt Replacement Applies to: AC Power (9-7300) Links Required Tools: Latest Rev. Service Manual • #2 Phillips Screwdriver • 9/16” Socket • 10mm Deep Socket Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to remove the screw securing the right side flywheel cap to the bike, then remove the cap.

Technical Procedure Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the outer chain guard to the bike Remove the outer chain guard. TECH TIP: Slowly rotate the user right side crank arm toward the rear of the bike to help with removal of the outer chain guard.

Technical Procedure Remove the tension bolt covers from the front of the bike Using a 10mm deep socket, remove the left and right-side tension screws from the front forks of the bike. TECH TIP: If an accessory (such as the Body Bar Holster) is lim- iting access to the tensioning nuts, use a 6mm allen key with a 10mm deep socket on the end of it to work within the clearance available.

Technical Procedure Loop the free end of the belt/band over the generator pulley. TECH TIP: If the generator band slips off of the flywheel pulley, remove the finger guards with a #2 phillips screwdriver - it makes placing the belt/band into the pulley groove much easier.
