Restricting the number of
tracks
When recording, it is possible to restrict
the number of tracks that may be
recorded at one time.
At any time within record or record pause
mode, turn the MULTI JOG.
This sets the number of remaining tracks
to be recorded. The maximum number
here is limited by the standard limit of 99
tracks, and the number of tracks
currently recorded.
The number of remaining tracks can be
changed during recording using the
MULTI JOG.
When the recording is finished, the
1-99
display shows PMA Writing and the unit
enters stop mode.
Input Monitoring
When the unit is in record pause, or
record mode, the input signal is output
from the OUT jacks (digital and analog),
allowing you to hear the input signal.
The meters will also show the current
signal level.
To allow monitoring of the input signal at
other times, or when the unit is stopped,
use the MONITOR button of the remote
control unit.
The word MONITOR appears on the
display to show that the output signal is
an echo of the input signals. The meters
show the current input level.
Exit the monitor mode by pressing the
STOP button.
< The RECORD button on the main unit will
also enter monitor mode from stop mode
when there is no recordable disc in the
unit (when there is a recordable disc in
the unit, pressing the RECORD button will
enter record pause mode).

Restriction du nombre de
pistes
En cours d'enregistrement, il est possible
de restreindre le nombre de pistes qui
seront enregistrées..
A tout moment, en mode Enregistrement
ou Pause, tourner le sélecteur MULTI
JOG.
Ceci a pour effet de définir le nombre de
pistes restant pour l'enregistrement. Le
nombre maximum de pistes est limité par
la norme qui fixe cette limite à 99, et par
le nombre de pistes déjà enregistrées.
Le nombre de pistes restantes peut être
modifié en cours d'enregistrement à
l'aide du sélecteur MULTI JOG.
Une fois l'enregistrement terminé,
l'affichage indique "PMA Writing" et
l'appareil passe en mode Arrêt.
Contrôle d'entrée
Lorsque l'appareil est en mode Pause
Enregistrement ou Enregistrement, le
signal d'entrée est transmis par les
bornes OUT (numérique et analogique),
ce qui vous permet d'entendre ce signal.
Cependant, les indicateurs de niveau
affichent également le niveau du signal
en cours.
La touche MONITOR de la télécommande
permet de contrôler le signal d'entrée à
tout moment ou lorsque l'appareil est
éteint.
L'indication MONITOR apparaît sur
l'afficheur pour indiquer que le signal de
sortie est un écho des signaux d'entrée.
Les indicateurs de niveau affichent le
niveau d'entrée réel.
Pour quitter le mode
(MONITOR), appuyer sur la touche STOP.
< La touche RECORD située sur le panneau
de commande de l'appareil permet
également de passer en mode Monitor à
partir du mode Arrêt, lorsqu'il n'y a pas
de disque enregistrable dans l'appareil
(s'il y a un disque enregistrable dans
l'appareil, il suffit d'appuyer sur la touche
RECORD pour passer en mode Pause
