TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptoms
Nothing happens when the yellow
button is pressed.
The Handscanner scans but does
not vibrate or beep.
The red and green LEDs light
during charging.
The host Bluetooth
not find the Handscanner
Opening the Bluetooth
comm. port does not connect to the
Handscanner.

Possible Cause
If no LEDs are on the battery may
be flat.
The Handscanner may have been
configured to exclude barcodes.
If the Blue LED is not lit continuously
the Handscanner will only operate
in Batch Mode.
The Handscanner may not be
configured for the barcode
symbology in use.
The vibrate and beep functions may
have been disabled.
The barcode symbol may be
damaged.
The Handscanner may not be at the
correct distance from the barcode
or transponder.
The battery may be low.
The battery pack has a fault.
The battery pack temperature is
outside recommended limits.

Fit a fully charged battery, or charge
the Handscanner.
Check the Handscanner
configuration using the Desktop
Configuration software.
Connect the Bluetooth
