Gas/Air adjustment

Loosen the 3 screws 1)(Fig. 16) and rotate the ring nut 2) until
the notch you have found corresponds with the index 3). Block
the 3 screws 1).
Example:
Burner output = 450 kW.
The diagram (Fig. 17) shows that the adjustments are as follows
for this output:
air:
R1 = notch 2
gas/air:
R2 = notch 6
NOTE:
The diagram (Fig. 17) indicates the optimum adjustment for a
type of boiler according to Fig. 4 on page 12. If the gas pressure
allows it, by closing the ring nut 2) (Fig. 16) you obtain reductions
in the formation of NOx.
If the pressure in the combustion chamber is
equal to 0 mbar, the adjustments of the air and the
gas/air must be made with reference to the dotted
WARNING
line on the diagrams.
With the adjustment of the head completed:
 reassemble the burner on the guides 3)(Fig. 18) at about
100 mm from the pipe coupling 4) - burner in the position
shown in Fig. 13 on page 19.
 Insert the probe and electrode cables, then slide the burner
as far as the pipe coupling - burner in the position shown in
Fig. 18;
 Connect the servomotor plug 14) and tighten the cable
grommet 15).
 Refit the screws 2) and the split pin on the guides 3).
 Fix the burner to the pipe coupling with the screw 1).
When fitting the burner on the two slide bars, it is
advisable to gently draw out the high voltage ca-
ble and the flame detection probe cable until they

are slightly stretched.
