Operation

Live working on the Outdoor Unit
If the Outdoor Unit is supplied by an external voltage source (e.g.
photovoltaic module), a direct voltage up to a maximum of 30 volts
could be present inside the device. While this does not pose a danger
to health, a short circuit could damage the device.
 The Outdoor Unit must not come into contact with other live parts.
 Before you open the housing, disconnect the Outdoor Unit from the
power supply and protect against inadvertent reinstatement.
 Please note the corresponding legal provisions of the country in which
the device is intended to be assembled and operated.

Cleaning

Ingress of moisture
If the device is not sealed correctly, moisture could enter the device
and cause damage or catastrophic failure.
 Close the device correctly and make sure that the silicone seal is
correctly seated in the designated groove in the Outdoor Unit (see
Closing the Outdoor Unit on page 62).
Solvents
Solvents could damage the surfaces of the device.
 Do not use solvents to clean the Outdoor Unit.

Repairs and modifications

Unauthorized or incorrect repairs or modifications
Unauthorized or incorrect repairs or modifications could affect the
accuracy and functioning of the device.
 Repairs must be carried out exclusively by authorized Narda service
centers. The warranty will otherwise be invalidated.
 Modifications to the Outdoor Unit are not permitted. Modifications will
invalidate the warranty.
