"WATER JET" FUNCTIONS
Water does not exit (shower, waterfall, whirlpool,
etc..).
- Check that the water supply has not been cut-off.
- Open the stop tap.
- Make sure the diverter is positioned towards the symbol
of the function you want to use.
- In the case of electronic functions, make sure that the di-
verter is positioned towards the "E" symbol and that the
tap is open (refer to the "Electronic activation of the water jet
functions" chapter).
Insufficient shower pressure.
Clean the shower filter (refer to the "Routine maintenance"
chapter).
Not much water exits in all functions.
Check that the water flow rate/pressure conditions indicat-
ed on the pre-installation sheet have been respected. In the
case of "hard" or impure water, or after the shower unit has
been used for a long time, it may be necessary to clean the
solenoid valve and/or mixer valve filters (contact a Jacuzzi®
Service Centre).
Insufficient whirlpool pressure.
Clean the nozzles (refer to the "Routine maintenance" chap-
ter). If this is not sufficient, contact a Jacuzzi® Service Centre
(cleaning of the solenoid valve filter and/or check the water
network pressure/flow rate).
Difficulty in regulating the water temperature (mixer).
Have checked that the network pressure values (when
used) between hot and cold water are balanced (contact
your plumber).
Routine maintenance
Brassware and relative panel, aluminium parts.
Simply dry the various components after use. If cleaning is nec-
essary, remove the impurities using a cloth soaked in soapy
water or neutral detergent, then rinse with clean water and dry
with a dry cloth.
Do not use abrasive towels, powdered detergents, acetone
or other solvents.
Nozzles (whirlpool jets), showerhead,
spray jets, shower.
These components are provided with a scale removal mem-
brane, which can be cleaned with a sponge; for normal cleaning
operations, refer to what was described for the brassware.
The shower is equipped with a filter which can become
clogged up with impurities and/or scale: clean it using a stand-
ard scale removal product, following the instructions detailed
on the product packaging.
Seat, tray, duckboard (optional)
These elements are made out of a special synthetic resin, which
can be cleaned by simply drying the surfaces after use; if there
are stains; use a normal detergent or soapy water.
Do not use products that contain sodium hypochlorite
(bleach, muriatic acid, etc.) and/or sodium hydroxyde (caus-
tic soda, etc.).
To remove the duckboard, use the hole located at the end to
insert the lifting tools.
Drainage pipes
With the passing of time, drainage pipes can become clogged up; if
you note problems with water drainage in the tray, you may need to
clean the skimmer baskets inside the drainage pipes.
- Remove the duckboard, if present.
- Lift the drainage pipe cover and extract the skimmer basket,
then carry out the cleaning procedure.
- Reinsert the skimmer basket, close the drainage pipe cover and
reposition the duckboard.
Glass
The glass is protected by "Crystal Clear", a special treatment that
slows down the formation of scale and stains due to moisture and
shower products, making the glass easier to clean. The "Crystal
Clear" treatment reduces maintenance times and costs, keeping
the shower clean and shiny over time (this depends however on the
degree of water hardness and the frequency of shower unit use).
