Page 4: Installing The Server In A Rack
Installing the Server in a Rack As shown in the Hardware Features illustration, the Snap Server ships with two slide rail assemblies with a packet of screws for mounting the rails to the chassis and rack; left and right front brackets with a packet of screws for securing the server to the rails. - Page 5 Attaching the Cable Management Assembly The cable management assembly consists of the cable arm and a packet of velcro strips to secure the cables to the arm. The assembly simply snaps into the left slide rail; no tools are required for installation. Thread the velcro ties through the cable management arm.
- Page 6 Connecting to the Snap Server for the First Time Snap Servers are preset to acquire an IP address from a DHCP server. If no DHCP server is found on the network, the Snap Server defaults to an IP address of 10.10.10.10, and you may not be able to see the server on your network.
