UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY The Powerbor PB320 comes in a rugged blow moulded carrying case before first use:- Remove the machine from the carrying case. Replacement of the arbor is a reversal of the procedure above. USING TWIST DRILLS Twist drills can be used with the PB320. To accommodate twist drills, or any plain shank cutting tool, the PB320 is supplied as standard with a 1/2” drill chuck and key.

CUTTING SPEEDS/MATERIALS—HSS CUTTERS The PB320 is a single speed drill unit with a nominal load speed of 380 rev/min. Under load the PB320 will regulate its speed depending on the load applied. ie: a small cutter will run faster than a larger cutter (if the same feed rate is applied) The PB320 has the optimum power / torque / spindle speed for HSS annular cutters in 1/2”...
OPTIONAL COOLANT SYSTEM The arbor supplied with PB320 has an internal reservoir for coolant built in. If additional coolant capacity is required, an external coolant system which feeds through the arbor is available.
