owner. Please note some parts of the figures shown below may be slightly different from the actual product, for your
better understanding of the structure and proper use.
l The product is designed for small dogs, 6.6 - 17.6lbs.
lGate is free-standing, allowing for easy placement anywhere.
lWidth is adjustable to fit different sized openings.
lWooden frame coordinates well with home interiors.
lRubber skids keep gate in place and prevent shifting.
Before assembling this product, make sure the following parts are included.

l IMPORTANT: Pay close attention while stepping over the bottom bar of the Door Panel for safety.
l This product cannot completely prevent pets from passing through. Do not place the gate
in a location where passage could lead to possible danger. Choose location carefully.
l Make sure the Door locks properly. Locks are positioned at the top/bottom of the Door
to keep your pets safely confined and to avoid unexpected injury and/or escape.
l Do not stride over the gate to avoid unexpected accidents/injuries. Use the Door to pass through.
l Be careful not to stumble on the protruding feet of this product.
l Never place the product at the top of a staircase or near a glass door. Avoid places where it may be unsafe to place
this product.
l This product is designed to use for small to medium size dogs and indoor use only. Do not use this product for any
purpose other than its intended use.
l Do not use this product while your pet is leashed to avoid unexpected accidents/injuries, such as dog entanglement.
l Make sure each part is properly fixed in place and pay special attention to new-born pups or tiny dogs to avoid
unexpected serious injury to pets, and/or product damage by being caught between the wires or between wire and
wooden frame.
l Pets may behave unexpectedly when startled by thunder, lightening, or other animals. To avoid possible injury/death
during such times, pets should be supervised and not left unattended. We do not recommend using this product when
pets are unattended.
l CHILDREN and ADULTS can trip over product under low-light/darkness. Place a night light near the product to avoid
possible personal injury under low-light/dark conditions.
Caution
l This product is designed for use with small to medium size dogs; 6.6 - 17.6 lbs. Do not use this product for pets out of
this weight range to avoid unexpected injury and/or escape.
l When opening/closing the door or side panel, make sure the area is clear and be careful not to pinch your hands or
fingers.
l Do not lean or hang on to this product to avoid unexpected accidents and/or product damage.
l Keep this product away from all heat sources at all times to avoid unexpected product damage or burn-related injuries
to self/pets.
l Only use genuine Richell parts and do not alter the design of the gate to avoid accidents and/or injury.
l Make sure to use this product on flat, solid floor surface.
l If you notice anything wrong with the product or installation site, discontinue its use at once.
Important!
lMake sure the product is securely fixed. If not, tighten the bolts as necessary.
lThis product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors.
lThere may be coating cracks at some joints and each product may experience different coloration of the wood
grain as frames are made of natural wood.
