Gap Filler is a transposer in which TX and RX channels are the same. In this condition it is possible to enable
the Echo Canceler.
Per Gap Filler si intende un ripetitore nel quale canale di trasmissione e di ricezione coincidono. In questa
condizione è possibile abilitare il cancellatore di eco.

•The start-up sequence with echo cancellation occurs within the following steps:
1. The level of the output signal is brought to and maintained at a level equal to "Start RF Lev."
2. Once time window is defined as:
"Window Center " - "Window Width" ÷ "Window Center" + "Window Width"
in that period of time are carried out five (arbitrary value) scans to search for the maximum gain of the
filter. The maximum gain is the maximum gain value found in these five scans. The window used for
this research has two central samples (Tap 11 and 12) to 1 and all others to 0.
3. Chosen "Echo Model" is now applied and the output signal level is brought to the nominal value.
