•Program Code Reference (PCR) restamping:
a PCR correction is necessary when input and output bit rate are different.

•Padding drops:
this function enables to drop if present the null packets from the incoming TS in order to decrease the
actual input data rate.

questa funzione permette di cancellare eventuali pacchetti nulli presenti nella TS d'ingresso in modo da
diminuire l'attuale bit rate d'ingresso.

•The modulator is able to transmit in single and multi layer mode (A+B+C), in partial reception mode and all
layers parameters can be configured.
•The sum of all the segments of all layers enabled must always be equal to 13. The table below shows the
criterion for assignment in single and multi layer. The software system helps the operator in the
configuration signalling when the combination of the number of segments is not correct.
•Il modulatore è in grado di trasmettere in modalità single e multi layer (A+B+C) e in Partial Reception. Tutti i
parametri trasmissivi e quelli relativi ai Layer possono essere configurati.
•La somma di tutti i segmenti di tutti i layer abilitati deve sempre essere pari a 13. La tabella sottostante illustra
il criterio di assegnamento in modalità single e multi layer. Il sistema software aiuta l'operatore nella
configurazione segnalando quando la combinazione del numero dei segmenti non è corretta.

•This function is set to serve for handheld device. If user enables it, the receiving end will parse program
information correctly just by receiving information of layer A;
if user disables it, the receiving end can not parse program completely unless it has got all layers'
information received.
Therefore, to set the device as partial reception mode will lower the handheld device's sample frequency
and save the source of energy of the handheld device.
•Questa funzione viene abilitata per i dispositivi mobile. Se abilitata, il terminale è in grado di analizzare
correttamente le informazioni sul programma con la sola ricezione delle informazioni del Layer A;
