Telephone operation

Find handset

You can use the find handset feature to find
misplaced handsets.
To start the paging tone:
Press FIND HS on the telephone base to start
X
the paging tone on all handsets for 60 seconds.
To stop the paging tone:
PHONE/
Press
X
OFF/
CANCEL
on the handset(s).
-OR-
Press FIND HS on the telephone base.
X
-OR-
Place the handset in the telephone base or
X
charger.
NOTES:
If you press MUTE on a handset, the ringer of that handset is silenced but the paging tone
X
continues on the other handsets.
If a handset is accessing the answering system, on a call (intercom call or outside call), or out
X
of range, that handset does not beep when paged.
You cannot use the find handset feature while the telephone base is playing messages or the
X
answering system is being accessed remotely.
