Connecting the external amplifi ers / Menyambung penguat luar
You can connect amplifi ers to upgrade your car stereo system.
• Connect the remote lead (blue with white stripe) to the remote lead of the other equipment so
that it can be controlled through this unit.
• For amplifi er only:
– Disconnect the speakers from this unit, connect them to the amplifi er. Leave the
speaker leads of this unit unused.
– You can switch off the built-in amplifi er and send the audio signals only to the external
amplifi er(s) to get clear sounds and to prevent internal heat built-up inside the unit (see
page 39 of the INSTRUCTIONS).
– The line output level of this unit is kept high to maintain the hi-fi sounds reproduced from
this unit.
When connecting an external amplifi er to this unit, turn down the gain control on the
external amplifi er to obtain the best performance from this unit.

Anda dapat menyambung sebuah penguat untuk meningkatkan sistem stereo mobil anda.
• Sambungkan ujung jauh (biru dengan strip putih) ke ujung jauh dari peralatan lain sehingga
dapat dikontrol melalui alat penerima ini.
• Hanya untuk penguat saja:
– Putuskan hubungan speker-speker dari radio ini, sambungkan ke penguat. Biarkan
kabel speker dari radio ini tidak digunakan.
– Anda dapat mematikan penguat yang terpasang tetap di dalam dan mengirim sinyal
audio hanya ke penguat eksternal untuk mendapatkan suara yang jelas dan mencegah
bertambahnya panas di dalam radio (lihat halaman 39 dari BUKU PETUNJUK).
– Level jalur output dari radio ini tetap tinggi untuk memelihara suara hi-fi yang telah di
hasilkan dari radio ini.
Ketika menyambung sebuah penguat eksternal ke radio ini, kecilkan kontrol gain pada
penguat eksternal untuk mendapatkan hasil terbaik dari radio ini.

* Firmly attach the ground wire to the metallic body or to the chassis of the car—to the
place uncoated with paint (if coated with paint, remove the paint before attaching the
wire). Failure to do so may cause damage to the unit.
