How to type using keypad
ƒ The letters of the alphabet are arranged on numeric keys from 2 to 9.
ƒ Whenever you are in text entry mode, to enter a name, send a message or write a
schedule, mobile phone will automatically change to letter mode.
ƒ The letters written on numeric keys are entered depending on how many times you press
the key. This is called multi-tap mode.
ƒ For example, to write name John, press:
> 5 key once for J,
> 6 key three times for O,
> 4 key twice for H, and
> 6 key twice for N
ƒ To insert a space press the 0 key.
ƒ If you have made a mistake and want to delete letter(s) press the right
ƒ Press the 1 key repeatedly for common punctuation marks.
ƒ Press the

Tip: In multi-tap mode if next letter is on the same key, wait 1 second or
press down direction key ( ).
How to select input method (abc, Abc & ABC)
ƒ In the text editing interface, press the # key switch between the following 4 input
methods.
1. Abc
2. abc
3. ABC
4. 123
How to select text language
ƒ In the text editing interface, select Options > Writing language. Then press the

To manage inbox messages
When you receive a new message, an alert is displayed on the top of the display.
1. Go to Menu > Messages > Inbox to access the message list.
2. Select a message and press the left

ƒ Call sender
ƒ Forward
ƒ Delete
ƒ Delete all
ƒ Save to Phonebook
ƒ Details
Save the message in the Drafts folder so it can be sent
later.
Exit the text writing interface.

Open and view the message.
Reply SMS to the sender.
Give a call to the sender.
Forward received message to another person.
Delete the selected message.
Delete all received messages.
Add the phone number of the sender to the phonebook.
Review such information as sender number, date, time
and storage place.
