    Chapter 1 Overview Chapter 1 Overview The Liebert CRV+ series precision air conditioner is a professional device, applicable to occasions inaccessible to general public. This chapter introduces the Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner on its model description, refrigerant requirement, product introduction, appearance, main components of indoor unit and requirements on operation and storage environment.

    DC speed regulation back-inclined centrifugal fan (EC fan for short). The Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner consists of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The Liebert CRV+ condenser is standard configuration, and it can reduce noise pollution to environment to greatest extent on the base of satisfying system cooling requirement, and improve reliability of operation.

    Chapter 1 Overview 1.5 Main Components Of Indoor Unit The indoor unit of the Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner consists of DC brushless compressor, evaporator, electronic expansion valve, electrode humidifier, EC fan, electric heater, sight glass, filter dryer, micro-processing controller and so on.

    Chapter 1 Overview Remote Monitoring Software The Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner adopts Modbus protocol. Through the configured RS485 port or TCP/IP port, the Liebert CRV+ system can communicate with the host computer and receive the control of the host software.

  • Page 11: Chapter 2 Mechanical Installation

    The Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner is heavy (see Table 2-1 for the weight). It is recommended to use mechanical handbarrow such as an electric forklift to unload and move the equipment to the place closest to the installation site.

    1. The Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner is designed for split floor installation. The indoor unit must be installed on the floor of the equipment room or computer room, and the outdoor unit can be installed outdoors or on the floor of other rooms.

    Note: the space is used for regular maintenance, such as replacing filter, fan, electrode humidifier and so on 2.4.3 Installation Procedures The Liebert CRV+ air conditioner is used between racks, and at least one side of it is adjacent to server cabinet. Levelling the cabinet After all components of the cabinet have been installed, you need to level the cabinet.

    2.5.2 Charging Refrigerant And Adding Refrigerant Oil 1. Charging refrigerant The Liebert CRV+ series air conditioner has been charged in factory with 2bar nitrogen to keep the pressure. Table 2-8 and Table 2-9 give standard charging amount of outdoor unit (different models for different outdoor temperatures) and indoor unit condenser.

    Adjusting wind-leading grill According to the installation location of the Liebert CRV+ air conditioner, you can adjust the installing direction of the wind-leading grill, making it lead wind to left or right. The wind-leading grill is composed of several pieces. Remove the screws on both sides of single piece of wind-leading grill, rotate it 180 degree, and install it back to change the wind direction.
