TIP: If you've installed the USB correctly and it's not showing on the list, click the
Refresh List button. If it still doesn't show up, please consult the Troubleshooting section
of this guide.
Communication Ports

If NMEA data is showing in the Last ### String, then the GPS is transferring data. Verify that the
data is accurate.

Open Ports: Shows the user which communications port is open; in
addition, it allows the user to remove that port or to test the currently
selected unit to make sure it is getting good data.
Remove: It will return to the available ports list (if it is still available).
Test: It will open up the Test Communications Window, which displays
the individual NMEA 0183 strings that Sea Scan
