El mantenimiento es fundamental para la seguridad, el buen
funcionamiento y la duración de la caldera.
Se debe realizar en base a lo previsto por las normas vigentes.
Es aconsejable realizar periódicamente el análisis de la combustión
para controlar el rendimiento y las emisiones contaminantes de la
caldera, según las normas vigentes.
Antes de efectuar las operaciones de mantenimiento:
- desconecte la caldera de la alimentación eléctrica llevando el
interruptor bipolar externo a la posición OFF;
- cierre el grifo de gas y de agua de las instalaciones térmicas y
sanitarias.
Al fi nal, se deben restablecer las regulaciones iniciales.
Attención
Se recomienda efectuar los siguientes controles en el aparato, al
menos una vez al año:
1. Control de la hermeticidad de las partes con agua, con eventual
sustitución de las juntas.
2. Control de la hermeticidad de las partes con gas, con eventual
sustitución de las juntas.
3. Control visual del estado general del aparato, si fuera necesario
realizar un desmontaje y limpieza de la cámara de combustión.
4. Control visual de la combustión y eventual limpieza de los
quemadores, si fuera necesario realizar un desmontaje y limpieza
de los inyectores.
5. Una vez realizado el control del punto "3", eventual desmontaje
y limpieza de la cámara de combustión.
6. Una vez realizado el control del punto "4", eventual desmontaje
y limpieza del quemador y del inyector.
7. Limpieza del intercambiador de calor principal, parte humos.
8. Verifi cación del funcionamiento de los sistemas de seguridad
para calefacción, seguridad temperatura límite.
9. Verifi cación del funcionamiento de los sistemas de seguridad
de la parte gas, seguridad por falta de gas o llama (ionización).
10. Control de la efi ciencia de la producción de agua para
uso domiciliario (verifi cación del caudal y de la correspondiente
temperatura).
11. Control general del funcionamiento del aparato.
12. Eliminación del óxido del electrodo de detección
utilizando tela esmeril.
Prueba de funcionamiento
Después de haber realizado las operaciones de mantenimiento, llene
el circuito de calefacción a la presión de 1,0 bar aproximadamente
y purgue la instalación.
Llene también la instalación para uso domiciliario.
Ponga en funcionamiento el aparato.
- Si es necesario purgue nuevamente la instalación de calefacción.
- Controle los valores seleccionados y el buen funcionamiento de
todos los órganos de mando, regulación y control.
- Controle la estanqueidad y el buen funcionamiento de la
instalación de evacuación de humos/toma de aire comburente.
Operaciones de vaciamiento de la instalación
El vaciado de la instalación de calefacción se debe realizar del siguiente
modo:
- apague la caldera, lleve el interruptor bipolar externo hasta la
posición OFF y cierre el grifo de gas;
- afl oje la válvula automática de alivio;
- abra el grifo de descarga de la instalación recogiendo en un
recipiente el agua que sale;
- vacíe desde los puntos más bajos de la instalación (donde estén
previstos).
Si se prevé tener la instalación sin funcionar en las zonas donde
la temperatura ambiente puede descender, en el período invernal,
por debajo de 0oC, es aconsejable agregar líquido anticongelante al
agua de la instalación de calefacción para evitar repetidos vaciados;
si se usa dicho líquido, verifi que atentamente su compatibilidad
con el acero inoxidable que constituye el cuerpo de la caldera.

Maintenance is an essential part of the safe and effi cient operation
of the boiler and ensures its durability. It should be performed
according to the instructions given in current legislation. Perform
combustion analysis regularly in order to check the operating
effi ciency of the boiler and to make sure any polluting substances
relased are within the boudaries set by current legislation.
Before beginning maintenance work:
- Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply by turning
the external bipolar switch to the "OFF" position;
- Close the gas valve and the central heating and domestic hot
water system valve.
After the work has been completed the initial settings will be
restored.

General comments

It is recommended that the following inspections be carried out on
the boiler at least once a year:
1. Check the seals in the water part and, if necessary, replace the
gaskets and restore the seal to perfect working order.
2. Check the seals in the gas part and, if necessary, replace the
gaskets and restore the seal to perfect working order.
3. Visually check the overall condition of the boiler.
4. Visually check the combustion and, if necessary, disassemble
and clean the burner.
5. Following the inspection detailed in point "3", disassemble and
clean the combustion chamber, if necessary.

clean the burner and injector, if necessary.

8. Make sure the following heating safety devices are operating
correctly:
- temperature limit safety device.

process (test the fl ow rate and temperature).
11. Perform a general inspection of the boiler operation.
12. Remove oxide from the detection electrode using an emery
cloth.
Operational test
After having carried out the maintenance operations, fi ll the
heating circuit at a pressure of approximately 1.0 bar and release
the air from the system.
Fill the domestic hot water system at the same time.
- Begin operating the boiler.
- If necessary, release the air from the heating system again.
- Check the settings and make sure all the command, adjustment
and monitoring parts are working correctly.
- Check the seal and that the system for the expulsion of fumes/
suction of comburent air is operating correctly.
Draining procedures
The heating system must be drained using the following procedure:
- Switch off the boiler, make sure the external bipolar switch is in
the OFF position and shut off the gas valve;
- Loosen the automatic air relief valve;
- Open the system discharge valve and collect the escaping water
in a container;
- Empty the water from the lowest points of the system (where
applicable).
If the system is to be left inactive in areas where the room
temperature may fall below 0°C during winter, we recommend that
anti-freeze liquid is added to the water in the heating system in
order to avoid the need for repeated draining; when this liquid is
used make sure it is compatible with the stainless steel used for the
bodywork of the boiler.
