9. Install the windshield.
Note that the windshield adjusters are
installed as shown, however, they can be
reinstalled according to rider preference.
To install the windshield, use two people
to carefully install the following parts in the
order indicated below:
Adjuster rubbers
•
Windshield
•
Plastic washers
•
Collars
•
6 x 18 mm flange bolts
•
Torque the bolts.
Torque: 9 ft-lbs (1.2 kg-m, 12 N·m)
Then, install the following:
Covers
•
Windshield bracket covers
•
4 x 25 mm pan screws
•
Torque the pan screws.
Torque: 8.4 lbf-in (0.1kg-m, 1.0 N·m)
10. Install the handlebar cover and
saddlebag lever lock.
Remove the ignition switch key from
the ignition.
Attach the handlebar cover using two
4 x 6.5 mm special screws.
