6. Before use

 Remove all packaging before using the
swivel seat for the first time.
 Assembly of swivel seat.

7. Assembly of the swivel seat

Refer to the attached assembly drawings.

CAUTION: Risk of injury - Be carefull
you mount the legs of the lower frame
in the correct manner. The legs must
be pointed upwards.

8. Use of the swivel seat

The swivel bath transfer seat is ideal for
usage in a bathtub. The specially designed
rubbers at the end of each attachment leg will
create a safe stability for the seat and avoid
the sliding over the bath board.
The seat can be mounted on the top of the
bathtub and can be easily removed when not
in use. So other persons can use the bath.
8.1. Mounting the swivel seat to the
bathtub:

CAUTION: Risk of injury - Check that
the seat is properly fixed in the
bathtub with the positioning screws
.

at least 30 mm of each attachment leg
 rest securely on each side of the
bath.
1. Place the swivel seat with the four
attachment legs  on the board of the
bathtub.
2. Turn the positioning screws  on both
sides against the bath.
3. Check that the swivel chair is properly
fixated to the bath.
8.2. Removing the swivel seat from the
bathtub:
1. Loosen the positioning screws  from
the bath.
2. Take the swivel seat out the bath.

8.3. Turning the swivel seat:

CAUTION: Risk of injury - Check that
the seat is properly locked after
turning.
Let someone assist you for a smoothly, safely
turning of the swivel bath transfer seat.
1. Pull the swivel lever  up. The lever
comes out the locking groove .
2. Lift the legs of the patient up when
turning to the washing position.
3. Turn the seat to the desired position.
The seat can be locked in four 90°
positions by placing the lever in one of
the four locking grooves .
Desired positions:
 Patient position for washing:
place seat parallel with lower frame
 Patient position for transfer
to/from swivel seat: place seat
perpendicular with lower frame
4. Lock the seat by placing the swivel
lever  in the correct locking groove .
5. Check that the seat is properly locked.

8.4. Transfer to/from swivel seat:

CAUTION: Risk of injury - Be careful
that you not slip out on the bathroom
floor.
For people who can walk:
1. Walk to the swivel seat.
2. Turn the swivel seat in a good position,
it must be easy to transfer to the seat.
(seat perpendicular with the lower
frame)
3. Place yourself in the seat. For extra
support you can grasp the armrests. Be
careful that you not slip out on the
floor.
4. Turn the swivel seat to the washing
position.
