Caller Groups
You can classify contacts into groups to identify
them. There are five caller groups: Friends,
Family, VIP, Business, and Others. You can
change the name of any caller group. You can
add contacts from your phone book to a caller
group and you can define ringtones, pictures,
and videos.
to change the name of a caller group
1. Launch Phone Book. From the Phone
Book menu list, select Caller Group.
Scroll through the caller groups.
2. Select the caller group to modify.
3. Press Edit to modify the group's name.
4. Press Clear to delete characters.
5. Press Option > Done when you are
finished. Press Ok or
NOtE: To change the Input Method, you can either press the
asterisk (*) key, or Option > Input Method.
to assign an incoming ring tone
1. Launch Phone Book.
2. Select the caller group to assign a ring
tone to.
3. Scroll down to Associate Sound then
use the left/right navigation keys to
choose from the available options. Each
tone is played as it is displayed.
to change the incoming picture
1. Launch Phone Book.

2. Select the caller group.
3. Select Associate Picture. This option
NOtE: The picture you select must be smaller than 20K in size.

to add or delete members in a caller group
1. Launch Phone Book.
2. From the Caller Group screen, select

4. Select the member to add or delete.
5. Press Options.
6. Select to Add or Delete a member.
7. Press Yes to confirm action. Otherwise,
to confirm.
NOtE: You can only add members from your Phonebook to a
caller group.
Extra Number
The extra number setting is used to store
special numbers. You can store your own
number here, a service dial number, and an
SOS number.
NOtE: Some of these functions may not be supported by your
service provider. The service dial number and the SOS number
cannot be configured and are set by your service provider.
to add extra numbers
1. Launch Phone Book. From the Phone
determines which picture is displayed
when someone from the chosen caller
group calls.
Member List.
