Configuring connection
between your device and PC
using Skyddle
You can use Skyddle software to configure the
connection between your device and a PC.
Before you start to configure Skyddle, make
sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device
and PC.

Click the Skyddle icon on your desktop.
You can install Skyddle using the
bundled support CD.

A pop-up window prompts to remind you
that Skype is used by other programs.
Click Always let this program use
Skype and press Yes.

Press I have ensured these items and
click Next.

Select dongle type then click Next.

Select a device from the list of available
Bluetooth devices and click Next.

Click ASUS-J501 from the device name
list then click Next.
7 To configure Bluetooth audio setting and
PC audio I/O setting, select a Bluetooth
audio device from the drop-down list then
click Next.
8 When finished, click Finish to exit the
install wizard.

Your device receives a message from
your PC. You can choose whether to
enable Skype in the pop-up window or
not. Press left soft key to enable Skype.
You can now make a Skype call on your PC.

Using Skype on your device

Note:
For optimum Skype call audio quality,
we recommend to use ASUS Bluetooth
devices.
• On your first Skype call, Skype prompts
that your Bluetooth device wants to use
Bluetooth Audio Gateway service. Click
the message to view the pop-up window.
Select Always let the device use this
service then click Next.
to use Skype on your phone
1. From the main menu, launch
press Enable Skype.
2. Select a contact from the Skype menu
and press Call button to make a Skype
call.
You can use Skype on your phone within
a ten meter range (30 feet) of your
Bluetooth dongle.
3. Press the button to terminate a call.
