Operation

Sound Control

High volume levels can damage this CD-Receiver and / or speakers.
This may void your warranty.
VOLUME Regulator:
Using the VOLUME Regulator on the front panel or the VOL + and VOL - buttons on the remote
controller, you can adjust the sound volume from minimum to maximum.
Distortion and sound quality worsening may occur when the volume level is in
the maximum position. It may damage the CD-Receiver and / or speakers.
This may void your warranty.
MUTE:
During playback press this button to stop the CD-Receiver audio output (no sound will be audible
in speakers, headphones nor through the SUB OUT).
Press it again to recover the audio signal output back.
P-EQ presetting equalizer:
You can use one of 5 built-in equalizer presets to control the sound quality of the CD-Receiver.
During playback press the P-EQ button to select one of the presets.
Each pressing will select the subsequent preset from the below list:
[FLAT] (FLAT) - not displayed on the Display.
[POP] (pop)
[JAZZ] (jazz)
[ROCK] (rock)
[CLASSIC] (classic)
Note! The P-EQ function disengages the settings of the TREBLE / BASS regulation or the curren-
tly selected sound control function (S-BASS or LOUDNESS).
To switch off the P-EQ function, select one of sound control functions (S-BASS or LOUDNESS)
or use the TREBLE / BASS regulators.
TREBLE regulator:
You can adjust treble output of the CD-Receiver. The default is 0.
Turn the knob counterclockwise (-) to decrease the amount of high frequencies.
Turn the knob clockwise to increase the amount of high frequencies (+).
The current setting will be displayed on the Display.
Note! When one of the sound control functions (P-EQ, S-BASS or LOUDNESS) is selected,
the current setting of the TREBLE regulation will be disengaged. Turn the knob to switch off the
selected sound control function and get back to the TREBLE regulations.
BASS regulator:
You can adjust bass output of the CD-Receiver. The default is 0.
Turn the knob counterclockwise (-) to decrease the amount of low frequencies.
Turn the knob clockwise (+) to increase the amount of low frequencies (+).
The current setting will be displayed on the Display.
Note! When one of the sound control functions (P-EQ, S-BASS or LOUDNESS) is selected,
the current setting of the BASS regulation will be disengaged. Turn the knob to switch off the
selected sound control function and get back to the BASS regulations.
